Christmas memories in the making...

What did Santa bring you this year?

(this is a picture of our friend's baby, sent in their Christmas letter. It was SO precious I just had to post it!)

We had a great Christmas this year. It was fun spending Christmas Eve with family and then relaxing at home on Christmas day. I had a yucky cold, so was not happy to be woken up by Big Sis at 5:30am (after having been up with the baby at 4:30am). Luckily, she went back to bed until 6:30am. She and Big Bro were then allowed to get up and get their stockings only. I turned to go back to sleep, but I heard their excited voices talking and talking as they went through their stockings. Tired as I was, these were Christmas memories in the making and I wanted to be there to watch them. We were all up soon after, except Middle SIs. We waited until close to 9am for her to wake up--a really hard thing for the older kids to do--but they made it through.

These are the kind of faces that made my day! (This was a family gift that had my kids dancing in the living room. You can see that Big Bro. was jumping up and down in the back of this pic. Can you guess what gift caused all this merriment?)

Here's my sweet little boy. He was content to watch all the excitement from his spot in the middle of the floor.

Well, ready or not, here comes another year. Best wishes to you all for a happy and prosperous 2007!

Love the pictures, they all look so happy:)

I hope you're over your cold. If it makes you feel better I had a nasty cold over Christmas.

Kori-
Awww, that baby in the stocking is just the cutest thing ever! You are so right about your children's excitement getting you out of bed.

It is fun to see the pictures of your kids and your crafty stuff. I guess I never posted my Christmas card that I made on my blog- but I love scrapbooking & cardmaking and so I definitely think we should get together!

The baby in the stocking is to cute.
I will guess the family gift is a video game player. I couldn't guess which one, I get confused with all of them out there.

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas. Those Christmas mornings are the best memories. A couple of years ago my brother wrote my mom and dad a letter about all his wonderful Christmas memories. My mom cherished it. My brother was in school with a family so he didn't have money to get them anything.

"Memories Christmas morning, priceless!"
