A couple months ago, we were able to visit the Governor's Mansion for a function. The funny thing is that this is one of the only pictures of our whole family together I could find--it just happens to also include the Governor and his wife!

When I am not teaching or planning school subjects, cleaning, cooking, taking care of the children, doing cub scouts, or keeping Middle Sis out of trouble, I try to squeeze in time to make cards, scrapbook, and other crafty things.
TheDad has logged over 3100 miles on his bike this year and he finished 6 races. In one of the races he had to stop and change two flat tires and still didn't come in last. I am pretty impressed with that.
He still works downtown helping people find work. He enjoys helping people and being able to speak spanish almost every day. Because of the many different people who go in for help there, TheDad has also learned to communicate in Sign Language, Bosnian, and I don't know what else. He has also worked with the youth in our church this past year. First, working with the 12-18 year old boys and now, teaching a youth Sunday School class.
We celebrated our 12 anniversary this year. We are grateful every day for blessings the Lord has given us. Not only for each other, but for all of you--our family and friends! Thanks so much for your love and support! Merry Christmas to you all!
