Update

The older boys continue to progress in their scouting program...
Also, for scouting, Middle Bro. needed to do some service hours. I started wracking my brains for somewhere to arrange for him to get his time in and remembered that my parents serve at the Bishop's Storehouse.  They let me bring my three oldest to spend some time helping them out.
The workers there were also so nice to the little kiddos. They let my younger children push little carts to the back, fill them with a few items and then push them up to the front again to help restock shelves.  My little ones loved it!
Of course, when the fighting started over who's turn it was to push the cart, I knew it was time to go.  It was getting close to luch time and the kiddos were getting restless.

It was so great that the workers let all of my children help in one way or another!  They are going to be so excited to go back later this month when Mid. Bro. goes back to  finish his service hours!

My older boys have also been going to chess club once a week.  They meet with 14 other home schooled boys and have a great coach!     Middle Bro. has taken a few opportunities to attend chess tournaments.....this is what he has come home with so far (mostly 2nd and 3rd place for his grade level)!
We had a FUN day today at our homeschool co-op.   All the kids exchanged Valentines...with at least 14 other kids in each age group.  It was so fun to see so many cute and creative ideas.   Of course, the moms needed to have treats too, so there were many red, pink, and chocolate goodies to be had!  My favorite were the bowls of strawberries, raspberries, and cherries (..and the oreo truffles..which I am glad went fast! They were hard to resist).

Chess club! Aubree would be jealous - her and Nate like to play and we are waiting for our school to form one.
