My sweeties!

Alex had been reading a book called, "What makes me, me?". At one point I heard her ask, "Stephan: What makes you, you?"

"Uh....", he replied, seriously pondering this question,"...uh....Soda....and.....uh.....................Candy! Yeah, Candy!"



I also got a kick out of taking Aliyah to the grocery store with me today. She said a very happy, sincere, and energetic, "Hi-i!" to everyone we walked by! She looked right at them and said, "Hi-i!" with a smile and waved! As I was pushing her in the cart back to our car, a man parked his car near where we were walking and she said "Hi" to him too! I don't think he had even stopped his car yet, but his windows were down and he said, "Hi" back.

What a great reminder to me of how awesome children are!
