and had slept with the night before)
Kayla: Koreen....come look at this.....Koreen....
(we were in the middle of Target and I was trying to find something and get done quickly--and not particularly wanting everyone around me to know my name)
Me: Please don't call me that.
Kayla: But it's your name! You told me last week!
Me: Yes....but not to you.
Kayla: But other people call you that!
Me: Do you want your treat or not?
Kayla: Okay, mom!
