Hello blog readers! I have been busy NOT keeping my blog up-dated. Busy,busy! We loaned our camera to Dana's sis. so I hopefully I will get it back soon and can put some cute pictures up!
With the wonderful weather lately, I have been bitten by some kind of "green thumb" bug. Not necessarily that I have a green thumb, but I pretend like I do. I am tired of the back of my house looking plain, so I have been digging and planting. I planted some veggies in pots and flowers in the ground. Now my fingers are crossed that they will actually grow!
Also, Dana took me out for my first official ride outdoors on my super-cool bike!
(No--me riding down the sidewalk and coming back inside after falling didn't count)
Riding outside is much better than rollers in the basement. The time flew by and I managed NOT to swallow any bugs! I was scared about getting started and stopping--it's not as easy when your shoes are clipped in to the pedals. I managed to fall on my first attempt--but caught on soon enough.
Then, a couple of times, even after I stopped, w/ one foot on the ground--I STILL fell over! I was laughing. One foot on the ground and I still loose my balance! Hmmm...this could be a theme for my life....

Keep on ridin! I can't even figure out how you stop with your feet in the clips and lean over and get your foot out? Do you just have to stop by something you can hold on to?
Sounds like fun! Matt and I got new bikes last year, and we don't get out to ride them near as much as I would like to. Definitely goin to have to try to make more time for it this summer.
