Have you heard of Webkinz? Thanks to Grandma, my children have.
I am usually not big on stuffed animals. I mean, what is the point? They are cute and all, but they end up laying around the house collecting dust. The kids don't touch them, they just lay there.
However, I do like these Webkinz. They come with a special number that allows you to sign into Webkinz world, adopt the pet, and a ton of other things.
They have opportunities to earn "KinzCash" on the site so they can buy food and supplies--and set up a house for their pet. I like that they have to take care of their pet or it can get sick. If it gets sick, they have to pay to take it to the doctor.
There are a bunch of games and such also. Another cute thing is they can plant a garden in their pet's yard. They have to water, rake, and weed the garden and then it produces healthy food for their pet.
Oh, and another fun thing is you can hook up with other Webkinz owners on the site; play games together, and even visit each other's houses. (my kids are only allowed to have family on their link list--My mom has over 20 pets of her own! Plus, many of my siblings AND their children:-)

holy moly! My kids each have two - i have no clue what their names or numbers are...but I will have the girls forward them to you guys so you can meet up in Webkinz world.
I will drop off the food Sunday morning at your house on the way out of town. Let me know if that doesn't work!
My kids LOVE webkinz! And the games are actually kind of fun too! I like that they have to take care of the pets, get a job, earn money for the things they want, etc.
We'll have to pass on the names so they can invite each others pets over!
Cool! I'll have to check into them. I've never heard of them.
