Michaela World

Michaela, now three years old, loves playing outside. She would stay outside all day if I would let her. However, I do not currently have the luxury of a fenced yard and since I have four other children to raise and a house to keep and lessons to teach and meals to prepare,etc., I cannot be outside to watch her all day.

This afternoon, she ran outside as my sister was leaving. Everyone else was inside and Michaela stood in the middle of our little plastic jungle gym (where she knows I will have a harder time grabbing hold of her if she decides she doesn't want to come inside voluntarily--oh, yeah, she's good).

Now, before you start feeling too bad for her, she did get to spend a couple of hours outside before this.

I told her she needed to come inside. She told me she wanted to stay outside. I said very calmly and lovingly, "I know, but you can't stay out here by yourself."

She looked around and said, "Pretend.......pretend that Evan is out here."
Too cute!
