Giving thanks and more

It's been a busy few weeks leading up to Christmas! Homeschooling six children (plus helping my daughter in college)takes a lot of time! However, we managed to squeeze in some other fun things..... like visiting family for Thanksgiving!

This boy has waited long enough to be baptized!  In our religion, we believe in baptizing children after they have reached the age of accountability (old enough to know right from wrong), which is 8 years old!

It was so special to be with family and have Little Bro. baptized along with his cousin!  And even more special, he was able to be baptized by his Big Bro!
I promised big Sis we would do some Black Friday shopping the next day.  Some of the other kids wanted in on the action and tagged along.   Stopping at Coldstone made their day!

It wasn't long before the Christmas lists started coming!   Baby Sis insisted on writing this list herself, as I told her how to spell things!  Just adorable! (if you can't see, the list says: Baby, Laptop, Dog)
I love the sweet relationship Big Sis and Baby Sis have.  The other day, Baby Sis wanted her hair done just like her Big Sister!   Aww!

Love moments like these!   So grateful for family!
