"One-two-free-four-five-six-seven-eight-nine-ten....ready or not, here I come! Oh, there you are, I found you!....One-two-free...nine-ten...ready or not, here I come! Oh, I found you...etc." So fun to watch/hear her learning about her world!
The other morning I was in a rush and Baby Sis was taking her time coming along. With some frustration in my voice, I said something like "Come on!"
Baby sis proceeded to come with me and said matter-of-factly, "Mom, you can't Lell at me."
"I can't?" I asked.
"No, you angry." She said. Ah, my sweet little one...keeping me in line! Let me assure you I was NOT angry, but was impatient. Just sayin...
Anyhow, things have been busy as usual around here. I have let blogging slip to the back burner. I wanted to have some pictures uploaded before I blogged as well, but that hasn't happened....
We are getting into a better routine with homeschooling, which I am happy about. Work on the house has slowed as I have been focusing more on homeschooling.
This is our 6th month here and I have been a bit frazzled trying to figure out priorities between fixing my home and homeschooling. I feel like a more finished and organized home will aid in our homeschooling, but I also don't want our schooling to get behind because I'm working on the home...so, I figure the house can wait, but education can't...so I have try to be content with how things are for now.
I went visiting teaching last week and my partner quoted something like: Being grateful makes what we have enough.
I love that!
I was able to attend the temple a few weeks ago and while sitting inside, pondering, wondering what the Lord wanted me to know....with all the busy-ness and all the craziness of my life....I was simply overcome with a feeling of gratitude. I said a silent prayer and thanked Heavenly Father and just contemplated the different blessings he has filled my life with.
My sister made us a Thankful Tree several years ago. This picture from pinterest gives an idea of what it looks like. Except my sister was crafty enough to punch out little leaves for us to write our blessings on! I love it!
