Islands of Adventure

  This is Big Sis and I'm 'guest blogging' for this post about Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. My mom stayed at our 'villa' with my four younger siblings while my dad, two brothers and I headed off to Universal. I was super excited especially for Harry Potter world.

 The first place we went to was the superhero island. My brothers aren't thrill seekers so my dad and I were the only ones who went on all of the 'scary' coasters. We rode the Incredible Hulk and it was so awesome! We ended up riding it a few other times later for a total of like 50 times:)

Then we went on this super cool Spiderman ride. It was and interactive 3D ride. We went on this a couple of times later when Middle Bro. felt more up to going on rides.
   After we went to Harry Potter world. I was freaking out cause, you know, I am a Harry Potter nut. We spent a lot of our day here and I tried to take pictures of everything. My dad didn't want me to take pictures of stuff unless we were standing in front of it, but I said to heck with it I needed to take pictures of everything so I could show everyone.

 Got a lot of Bertie Bots every flavor beans, chocolate cauldrons, chocolate frogs, blood succors and more.

             Here's a picture I took of the beautiful Hogwarts while we were waiting in line to go into Olivandor's Wand Shop.

                              We saw two shows in Harry Potter World. One was the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students. Doing a little dance thing to their music. I was loving every minute of it.

                          There was another show of the Hogwarts choir with their singing frogs, but sadly I didn't get any pictures.
   Inside Hogwarts is another interactive ride similar to the Spiderman ride. We loved this ride and went on it multiple times. My dad and I went on Dueling Dragons, which is another roller coaster. You can ride the Chines Firebolt or the Hungarian Horntail. I can't remember which we rode first, but it was the better of the two. Sitting in the front made it even better. There was also Flight of the Hippogriff which was another roller coaster. Probably the lamest coaster we went on, but I saw Buckbeak so I was happy.

Here's the entrance to Dumbledore's office. You walk all through Hogwarts on the way to the ride. I tried to get some more pictures inside of Hogwarts, but they didn't turn out and my dad was being the picture police.  It was so cool to see everything in real life. There were talking paintings, the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, Dumbledore's office, the sorting hat

Like I said we spent the majority of our time in Harry Potter world. We went to lunch at the Fantastic Four restaurant. We also went on a ride in Toon Lagoon where we all got soaking wet. Yeah, I thought they were exaggerating when the sign said 'You will get soaking wet'-- so we were all soaking wet and I was mad. My feet hurt so we decided to go see a show, called Poseidon's Fury, so we could rest. But no, we had to stand the whole time.My favorite rides were probably Harry Potter Forbidden Journey and the Spiderman(the 3D interactive rides). We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back!
