Our lives here, on the "Tour" will take a big turn next week when my kids start public school for the first time in their lives. I have loved homeschooling and would have loved to continue w/ it. As some of my homeschooling friends have been planning their curriculum, I have felt a pang of sadness. I really came to love it.
However, I have come to understand that it is time for me to finish my own formal education. (Leave it to me to wait until I have six children to raise before I go back to school!) I am going to start classes at the community college this fall w/ plans to enter their nursing program.
It was a hard decision, but the Lord has definitely helped along the way! The schools have been very helpful and kind. My children are all excited too. As the time draws near, I am getting a little nervous, but I am learning to trust in the Lord like never before.
