(I know it was horrible of me to make Aliyah share her first b-day--but that's the way I roll!)
I thought it went pretty well and I enjoyed celebrating the life of both of my little girls. Since Aliyah didn't get a birthday party all to herself, I did at least make her her own little cake. (Dana wouldn't let me light her candle--but, I don't think she noticed!)
We let the girls open their presents at the same time--which actually worked out well. Thanks Tiffany (and Kev) for the birthday book! Aliyah actually sat and looked through it for quite a while--so cute!
Thank you, Grandma for the CUTE clothes and the Webkinz FISH! All night Michaela kept telling us what she was going to name it....first it was Tiger fish, then Funny Fish....but when the time finally came to adopt it online, she actually named it "Mr. Bunny"! (really, I cannot figure that girl out!)
Yeah, that cake was good. 
(Yeah, I made it myself :-)

Aliyah looks so cute! Her hair has really filled in. Let us know the next time you are up-we have a gift for Michaela and Alex.
