Eight! Yesterday at the State Fair, I counted eight kinds of food you could buy that came on a stick! I should've also counted how many things were deep fried....or how about deep fried on a stick? Maybe next year. I thought there'd be more food on a stick, but these are the ones I did see:
Pizza
twinkies
peaches
corn dogs
turkey legs
apples (candied or carmel)
roast chicken
fried cheese
Pork chops
Oh, my--I can't believe I forgot the BANANAS! Frozen Bananas on a stick! Oh, and does Cotton Candy count?
(Christy reminded me of the pork chops on a stick also. AND, yes, I did see the "Hot beef Sundaes"! Funny!)
Not much to report on the State Fair. We always have a good trip. Just walkin' around, lookin' at stuff. Using free coupons from the library for soda, cookies, and a ride--yeah, we're big spenders!
My favorite was Wednesday night. Dana and I got to go see THIRD DAY in concert (free w/ general admission to the fair)! Love them! It was great, they are great! I love their sound and encourage you to check them out if you are not familiar with them. One of my favorites by them is on my playlist here on the blog. Great sound, AND great lyrics to go along with it!
