Things that made me smile in September...

...my new wreath on my front door. (a friend gave me this as a long-straight vine and it also had leaves on it. She didn't want it anymore. I twisted it into the circle and cut all the leaves off. Not bad for free.)

...getting help in the kitchen. (Sometimes more help than I want, but who am I to complain?)...Alex. She is the best helper to me! I totally know why the Lord sent her to us first!

...Seeing my children play and relax together. (Alex recently started dance lessons again and boy were her feet sore for the first couple of days! This was such a cute little moment...but came to an end when Stephan decided to sit in the water!)

...Seeing the children enjoy good literature. (Michaela is constantly pushing the limits of toddler fashion....)
(And yes, they are lying on the kitchen floor, using one of those padded-life-jacket type swimsuits as a pillow! I didn't realize those things were so multi-functional.....)
...chocolate. I guess a few of the kids may feel that way too.....

What a cute post! I'm telling you...Eva and Michaela look like two peas in a pod with their interesting fashion choices (and temperament, too I think).

That wreath is so beautiful!
