100 things...

I decided to take the 100 things challenge. Since this webiste is a tour of my family life--it will be 100 things about my family!

1. TheDad and I have been married for 12 years and counting.
2. Our children were each born on odd-numbered days.
3. Our children were each born in even-numbered years.
4. We love chocolate.
5. Two of us have nut allergies
6. We are Cornhusker fans.
7. We homeschool and love it!
8. We watch movies in our living room on our computer (the screen is so much better than our TV screen!)
9. Big Sis. takes four dance classes.
10. Middle Bro. was born on Friday the 13th.
11. I have had 2 babies delivered by an OB doc., 1 by a midwife, and 2 by a family doc.
12. I LOVE my family doctor!
13. I LOVE our Nurse Practitioner (for the kids)!
14. We love chocolate chips in our banana bread.
15. We try not to eat foods with hydrogenated oils in them (I know, weird...seriously, though, they are BAD for you!)
16. We run an internet-based business.
17. I prefer shopping online (SO much easier).
18. I learned how to knit once, but forgot:)
19. My baby's first name is half of his last name!
20. We love the Disney/Pixar movies.
21. We almost always owe the library money (I used to think it was free!)
22. Middle Bro. has the cutest smile!
23. My toddler loves not wearing clothes.
24. I have called poison control three times this year.
25. My kids love watching movies with their dad.
26. Mom and dad like cartoons as much as the kids.
27. We receive three channels on TV--not very clearly either.
28. Big Bro. loves baseball.
29. Big Sis.'s favorite music is Swan Lake.
30. Our home is decorated in the "Evidence of Children" style.
31. So far: 5 have blue eyes, and 2 have brown eyes.
32. TheDad is a bon diggity dancer.
33. We like VeggieTales.
34. Big Bro. wants Moon shoes.
35. Middle Sis. spends a lot of time standing on her head.
36. We all like Natural Cheetos (white cheddar)!
37. We watch Disney channel shows online (Disneychannel.com)
38. Big Bro. is in cub scouts.
39. I am one of Big Bro.'s Den leaders.
40. Big Sis. is learning to play piano.
41. Big Sis. loves to draw.
42. Big Bro. is two years younger than Big Sis., but the same height, and we just bought him shoes a half size bigger than hers.
43. TheDad speaks spanish.
44. TheDad also knows some sign language.
45. We start our school day when mom is ready.
46. We have had 5 children in 10 years.
47. TheDad and I both have six siblings.
48. Big Sis. and I like to do girly things together.
49. No matter what I do, Middle Sis. says "boodie" at least 5 times a day.
50. TheDad is awesome.
51. Big Sis. broke her arm this year.
52. I have had acupuncture.
53. TheDad likes to cook, I like to bake.
54. TheDad and I have opposite personality styles.
55. I like yoga.
56. We want to go to Hawaii.
57. Big Sis. and I like crafting together.
58. I am way behind in my scrapbooking.
59. Big Sis. wants that Dream Life game.
60. TheDad loves cycling.
61. I am up with baby once or twice each night.
62. Middle Sis. is a lot like her big sister.
63. We see a movie in a theatre about once a year.
64. My boys are going to be Jedis for Halloween.
65. I like to quilt.
66. Two of my children got lice once (yuck!).
67. Middle Bro. once had his head shaved (after the lice thing).
67. We usually make our own pinatas for birthdays.
68. My baby is getting his third tooth.
69. I cut the children's hair myself.
70. Big Sis. has only had 3-4 hair cuts in her life.
71. We are very religious.
72. We are not complacent about politics.
73. Middle Sis. has naturally curly hair (which always looks like a mess since she stands on her head so much).
74. TheDad is half greek.
75. We have no pets.
76. We like visiting the zoo.
77. Big Bro. collects rocks.
78. TheDad collects the state quarters.
79. I love old movies.
80. The kids are not happy that TheDad and I went to Disneyland without them (even though it was before they were born:)).
81. Middle Bro. has a hard time holding still.
82. Little Bro. loves picking up little crumbs off the floor (and trying to eat them--reminding me I need to vaccum every day!)
83. We are online just about every day.
84. Middle Sis. is high maintenance.
85. We somehow manage to share one bathroom (believe in miracles)!
86. I don't have a dishwasher:(.
87. We LOVE the game Cashflow 101!
88. We know all the wiggles songs.
89. I collect Noah's ark stuff.
90. We read scripture stories every day.
91. Big Sis., Middle Bro., and I are currently hooked on "Cake Mania".
92. TheDad helps people find work.
93. We go to church every Sunday.
94. We just got a new family picture taken.
95. It has taken me over a week to make this list.
96. I once lived in Japan.
97. We have family night once a week.
98. Most people keep linens in their hall closet--ours has school books.
99. Three of my children have had x-rays taken.
100. I wouldn't trade any of my family! They are the best!
