State Fair Fun

This was our fourth year, I think, of going to the State Fair. They have a program for schools to attend the fair as an educational experience and we were able, as homeschoolers, to be included. Since it is free (key word), we have been taking the opportunity to go as a family and always have a good time.

One of our favorite parts of the State Fair this year was Mad Science Movie Magic. They dressed volunteers up and showed them how Hollywood creates some of their special effects.

Big Sis. got to be "Super girl". You can't see in the photo very well, but the TV at the front of the stage showed us the movie-like image of whatever they were doing--like Big Sis. flying through the air.

Here's my little Rocky (Big Bro.) Balboa. The TV screen showed him working out in a weight room. (He also got to run with the bulls in Spain, by the way)

Middle Bro. finally got a turn to work the snow-making machine for "Agent Cody Banks". (He had to do some major arm raising before he got selected. Whew!)
